Osomon combines strategic consulting and geopolitical intelligence with the digital infrastructure that makes cross-border commerce and capital actually move.
Advisory
Three advisory practices built on direct operating experience, deep market knowledge, and a principal’s instinct for risk.
Growth strategy, market entry, capital structuring, and deal support for businesses scaling across borders. From early positioning and brand development through international distribution, institutional capital events, and complex exits.
Scenario-weighted analysis of geopolitical risk, energy markets, and macroeconomic disruption. Published daily and delivered to institutional subscribers. Built on two decades of commodity market experience.
Advisory for families and principals navigating cross-border wealth structuring, asset protection, and investment strategy. An operator’s understanding of business risk applied to long-term capital.
Infrastructure
Most advisory firms stop at the recommendation. We build and operate the digital infrastructure that executes it.
Blockchain-enabled trade finance infrastructure for critical mineral supply chains. Connecting small-scale producers in remote geographies to global markets through stablecoin payment rails, digital documentation, and distributed ledger matching, at costs typically 50% below conventional bank transactions.
Intelligence
The Osomon Conflict Briefing tracks the geopolitical, commodity, and financial market implications of the Middle East war. Each edition provides scenario-weighted probability assessments, asset-class projections, and positioning guidance.
Coverage spans oil, LNG, gold, equities, and major currency pairs, with particular focus on how energy supply disruption transmits through to European and Gulf economies.
Delivered to your inbox. Free during the current conflict cycle.

Cross-border wealth structuring, asset protection, governance, and investment strategy for families and principals.
Blockchain infrastructure, stablecoin payment rails, and commodity tokenisation for critical minerals and trade flows.
Team
Osomon is led by people who have built, operated, and sold businesses, not just advised on them.
Founder
Max founded Osomon after spending a decade building Tequila Enemigo, a super-premium spirits brand, from a blank page to distribution across the US, UK, EU, Mexico, UAE, and Monaco, earning over 60 international awards including multiple Double Gold and Tequila of the Year wins. He completed a majority sale of the business in 2023 and oversaw a family office acquisition of the majority partner in 2026, securing two liquidity events from the same brand.
That experience is the foundation of what Osomon delivers: structuring capital across jurisdictions, building route-to-market from scratch, negotiating with distributors, importers, and key accounts across multiple continents, and navigating complex multi-party ownership and governance through two exits.
Max is also a Founding Board Member of Grey Swan, a next-generation multi-family office.
Managing Director
Lorenzo spent 14 years at S&P Global Platts, the world’s benchmark pricing agency for energy and commodity markets. As VP of Sales, he led global teams across New York, Houston, London, Moscow, Dubai, and Singapore, covering the firm’s largest accounts and representing over 50% of total Platts revenue.
Prior to the VP role, Lorenzo served as Vice President and Global Head of Strategic Accounts, building the cross-functional frameworks that connected sales, product development, and market analysis to client feedback. His career at Platts gave him a granular understanding of how commodity pricing, geopolitical risk, and institutional decision-making intersect: the analytical foundation behind Osomon’s intelligence practice.
Lead, Applied Blockchain, Critical Minerals and Web3
James has spent two decades at the intersection of energy, commodities, and digital infrastructure. As Senior Director of Innovation and Digital Strategy at S&P Global Platts, he built and spun out Distro Energy, an AI-powered energy trading marketplace, from concept through to independence with the Port of Rotterdam, achieving a €10m seed valuation and commercial traction across aviation, infrastructure, and municipal power in the US and Europe.
He went on to co-found Salus, an Abu Dhabi-based digital trade finance platform for critical minerals operating on blockchain infrastructure and targeting $1bn in annual trade flows. Previously he served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the London Bullion Market Association, CEO of Minerals Value Service, and Chief Product Officer at an Abu Dhabi-based metals trading fintech. He is ACCA qualified.
